IS INDEPENDENCE DAY WORTHY OF CELEBRATION DESPITE THE CURRENT OBSTACLES?

"Is Independence Day Worthy Of Celebration Despite The Current Obstacles"

Written By Comr. Mubarak Abdullahi Nuhu (MUBREECK)

Hello Nigerians!!!. Good Day to all and sundry. Tommorow the 1st day of October, 2021 marked as Independence Day, and we all know it's one of our traditions to celebrate this beautiful day. As we all know Independence day celebration is auspicious occasion for all of us as a citizens.

Independence Day is one of the most important day to the Nigerian citizens and has been mentioned and will be mentioned forever in our history. It's the day when we got freedom from the colonial masters rule after many years of hard struggle by the great freedom fighters of Nigeria.

We celebrate Independence day every year on 1st October to remember the first day of freedom of Nigeria as well as remember all the sacrifices of the great leaders who have sacrificed their lives in getting the freedom for Nigeria. Nigeria got independence on 1st of October in 1960 from the Colonial masters rule. After independence we got our all the fundamental rights in our own Nation, our Motherland. We all should feel proud to be Nigerians and admire our fortune that we took birth on the land of an Independent Nigeria. History of slaves Nigerians reveals everything that how our ancestors and forefathers had worked hard and suffered all the brutal behavior of Colonial masters. We cannot imagine by sitting here that how hard the independence was for Nigeria from the Colonial masters rule. Later several great freedom fighters had struggled and spent their whole life only for getting freedom. We can never forget the sacrifices of the people like Sir Ahmadu Bello (Sardauna Of Sokoto), Sir Abubakar Tafawa Balewa and many others who had lost their lives in their early age just for fighting for their country. How can we ignore all the struggles of Sir Ahmadu Bello (Sardauna Of Sokoto). Sardauna was a great Nigerian personality who taught Nigerians a big lesson of non-violence.

He was the one and only who lead Nigeria to get freedom with the help of non-violence. Finally the result of long years of struggle came in front on 1st of October 1960 when Nigeria got freedom. We are so lucky that our forefathers have given us a land of peace and happy where we can sleep whole night without fear and enjoy whole day in our school or home. Our country is developing very fast in the field of technology, education, finance and various other fields which were almost impossible without freedom. Nigeria is one of the rich countries in Petroleum, agriculture and so on. We have full rights to choose our Representatives in government and enjoy largest democracy in the world. Yes, we are free and have complete freedom however we should not understand ourselves free of responsibilities towards our country's development. As being responsible citizens of the country, we should always be ready to handle any emergency condition in our country. I feel like to celebrate this precious day but I'm so annoyed. Despite I expound a little history of our county I feel cosy but if I think what's popping currently in this country I'm out of control. But I have no choice to omit the celebration. I will celebrate the day with some of my favorite words in order to elucidate the country my feelings on current Obstacles. when we go through back of our county history, we will encounter alot of astounding things that our past leaders did in order to make the country peaceful and Harmony.

Could we imagine the system of Administration of our leaders, peace and Harmony of today with those Leaders of years back?. Absolutely, there's no imagination at all. Why are we heading to celebrate the "Independence Day" Despite it has become one of our tradition. It's so heart touching if I think the hideous things that are happening in this beloved country. Nigeria became one of instability country that have lack of security and any kind. I wonder why some citizens do celebrate the "Independence Day" with ridiculous and preposterous celebration. The things exasperated me beyond of measure. Instead for us to celebrate the day with educative equipment but we celebrate the day as if we're "Illiterate". We're youths of this astonishing country, we all know the misfortune things that are circulating in the country, with that absurd celebration let's us use our intellect to expound what we feel and employ strategies on how to tackle the troubles. Our leaders should know that we're not well secured in this country. Our right to life is deprived unlawfully. Despite the obstacles, i feel we should celebrate the day with a motivation declarations. Therefore, we should completely shun the path of absurd Celebration and adopt a more friendly approach. We should try to win the hearts of people and our leaders or illustrate them what we're felling through our arts of writing or by adopting a positive approach. We should never get influenced by the ephemeral grandeur of the unreasonable celebrations.

Make use of the power of mighty pen and accomplish never-ending victories of the soul. Ya Allah we seek your pardon on our enormous sins we committed, Ya Allah we seek your assistance on all those obstacles of this country, you're the only one that can banish it, Ya Allah we're your servant, you're the one who says we should ask you something and definitely you will fulfill our need, Ya Allah make our country to be peaceful and Harmony, Eradicate all the hardships and make the country suitable than before. Ya Allah, our tactics can't lead us to change our habit except you aid us to do. Ya Allah we demand your assistance. Astagfirullah wa'ahtubu ilaik. At the end. We should take an oath today of being highly responsible and well-educated citizens of the tomorrow Nigeria.

We should sincerely perform our duty and do work hard to get the goal  and successfully lead this democratic nation.
